Tooth-Colored Fillings
If we come across any cavities or decay in your child’s teeth, it is important to treat the issue as soon as possible before it worsens. In most cases, we will be able to gently fill a cavity with a tooth-colored filling.
Fluoride Applications
For a variety of reasons, children are more susceptible to cavities and tooth decay than adults. Topical fluoride treatments are an excellent way to help prevent decay in young teeth. The treatment is fast and painless to apply and can be done at the same time as a regular checkup.
Sealants
In addition to fluoride treatments and routine cleanings, sealants are an excellent preventive treatment to help prevent cavities in children. Sealants are painted over a tooth’s chewing surface to help keep them clean and protect them from acid and bacteria that lead to decay.
