She will also remove the debris attached to gum pockets and clean the gum lines. After removing the larger pieces of tartar, the hygienist will proceed to the removal of any smaller debris using specialized dental hand tools. Following the cleaning, each tooth will be polished leaving your teeth with a clean, bright appearance.
